Metamorphosis
Metamorphosis is the name of our youth group. Metamorphosis meets from 6pm to 8pm on Sunday evenings. The meetings generally start out with playing some ping pong, billiards, chess, darts, and other games. After blowing off some steam with recreational activities we move upstairs to the youth room for the weekly lesson. We always have a good time and we hope we are always learning. We are definitely always welcoming of additional members to our group.
If you are a teen (grades 7 through 12), we encourage you to come grow with us, make some friends, have some fun, and develop your personal relationship with God.
Our youth group is temporarily quite small. This makes it prohibitive for some youth group related activities that only work well with more people. It does allow us to interact more closely with the youth that we have. We are interested in re-growing our youth group but until then we are meeting less frequently - once a month on the first Sunday evening of the month is our scheduled meeting time but this time is subject to change depending upon the activity. Because of the small size we are centering the youth activities around events that can be attended by others in the community such as trips to the Carnegie Science Center, charity walks, or cookouts.
